Sleep Apnea
Many of you have expressed an interest in having an animation added to BiteFX that will help you explain how you can help those suffering from sleep apnea.
This month's animation does just that. First it shows how the tongue falling back can block the airway, then how a device, like the SomnoDent® from SomnoMed®, can keep the jaw and tongue forward ensuring the airway remains open.
