Here are a few key differences when operating the software:

Installing Software Updates

Windows - Keep BiteFX open long enough to allow detected updates to automatically download, then click on "OK" to install the update(s) when prompted.

iPad - Tap on the Menu tab, tap on the Updates tab in the list, and then tap on "Download Updates".

Opening the Animation, Picture, and Presentation Template panels

Windows - Animations, Pictures and Presentation Templates each have their own panel on/off button.

iPad - First tap on the panel select tab, then select the Animation, Picture or Presentations panels by tapping on the individual tabs at the top of the display.

Importing Pictures

Windows - Pictures must be saved in a folder. With any panel displayed, click on the "Add picture Album" button, navigate to the folder of pictures, click on the folder name once to select it, and then click on "Select folder". Once a folder has been imported, pictures cannot be added or removed individually. The album name will be the same as the folder name and cannot be renamed after importing.

iPad - Pictures are imported individually. Tap on the "Panel Select" tab, tap on the "Picture panel" tab at the top, and tap on the "Add Pictures" button. You can import a picture into a new "Add Pictures" row, or into an existing Imported pictures row. The album name will be "Import (x)". To rename the album anytime, tap on the name, rename it in the Specify Album Name dialog, and then tap on "Save".

Deleting Pictures

Windows - Individual pictures cannot be deleted individually. To remove a picture, the entire album must be removed first by clicking on the "Remove album" button (red X) and then "Yes". Remove the individual picture from the folder, and then import folder again.

iPad - Imported picture can only be removed individually. Tap on the "X" in the upper left corner of the picture's thumbnail, then on "Yes" when the Delete Alert dialog appears.

Creating Presentations

Windows - Open the Animation or Picture panel, click and drag any thumbnail to your My Presentations row. The presentation's default name will be "New Presentation". To re-name the presentation, double-click on the presentation name, type in the new name and then hit "Enter" on your keyboard.

iPad - Unlock the panel by tapping on the "Lock/Unlock Panel" tab. Drag thumbnails into the My Presentations row. The default name will be "Presentation". Tap on the name, enter the new name, and then tap on "Save".

Advancing Through Animation Groups, Picture Albums & Presentations

Windows - Select the first thumbnail in the animation group, picture album, presentation template or your own presentation row, then click on the "Next animation/picture" button to advance through that group.

iPad - Select the first thumbnail in the animation group, picture album, presentation template or your own presentation row, then click on the "Next " tab to advance through that group. Alternatively, you can side swipe to move through a group if you prefer.
