New Animation
- Lack of Canine Guidance with Focus on PDL + Abfraction
When we came out with our animation showing the periodontal ligaments we were asked to illustrate what goes on with the ligaments when the tooth experiences sideways forces.
It took us a while to nail down what was required but we've made that happen this month.
You'll see the bone receding where it is being compressed and thickening slightly where it is under tension. Then, at the end, we show a big abfraction coming off - which matches what we see in a number of pictures of abfractions.
