Have you ever had a patient complain about their occlusal splint because it “makes their bite feel really uncomfortable”?

I.e. when they remove the splint their bite doesn’t feel like it used to?

Hal Stewart, one of our long-time customers, suggested to us that an animation explaining what happens when you remove a splint would be really helpful – so that’s what we have produced as this month’s update animation.

November 2012 Updates to BiteFX Software

We are always working to make your BiteFX experience smoother, easier, and more productive.

As part of these efforts we will periodically be issuing updates to the BiteFX software to tune the behavior and/or fix bugs we have discovered. BiteFX Subscribers using BiteFX V2.0w for Windows will receive the first of these periodic updates to the BiteFX software along with this month’s animation updates.

This article lists all the changes we have made to the software, along with descriptions of how to take advantage of new features where relevant.

New Animations for BiteFX Subscribers

Now that BiteFX V2.0w for Windows has been released we will be releasing new animations regularly (about one a month is the goal). V2.0w and BiteFX on the iPad (when it is released) have update support built-in so the products, as long as they can connect to the Internet, will recognize when updates are available and give you the opportunity to download and install the updates at your convenience.
